Welcome to Mount Peter! Located in Orange County, New York, in the heart of the Hudson Valley, Mount Peter is known for our free beginner ski and snowboard lessons, (with the purchase of a lift ticket) family atmosphere, and great events. Known as “The Friendly One,” Mount Peter offers advanced group and private lessons, race programs, learn to ski and snowboard programs, women’s programs, and programs just for kids. We offer a cozy lodge and tavern, cafeteria, outside pavilion and grill, full rental shop, retail shop, and a tuning shop. And don’t worry if it’s not snowing, we make our own snow!
