Mount Peter Multi-Week Ski and Snowboard – Weekday/Night Programs 2017
Lesson deadline is January 2nd. Please call the mountain for details.
Welcome to Mount Peter! The mornings are getting colder, the smell of fall is in the air, and we are eagerly awaiting the winter season. It’s right around the corner, and we are ready! Thank you for inquiring about our multi-week ski and snowboard programs. We have a lot of options for the beginner and intermediate skier and rider, as well as those looking to continue to learn. Our multi-week programs are a fun way to learn and improve, meet new people, and get outside and enjoy our favorite season!
If you are interested in multi-week programs that are held mid-week, Tuesday-Friday, please read below. If you are interested in our multi-week programs that are held on the weekends, click here.
Mount Peter’s Multi-Week Ski and Snowboard Program, for both beginner and intermediate skiers and snowboarders, is a fun way to either learn the sports of skiing and snowboarding, or to improve your skills. For kids (ages 5 and up for skiing and 6 and up for snowboarding and in kindergarten), it is offered Tuesday through Friday nights. You choose the night and time that is best for your child, and come for eight consecutive weeks on that same night. The adult program is offered Tuesday evenings, and Thursday morning and evening.
Participants pay for just 7 weeks, and the 8th week is free, to be used as a make-up for a missed session, or just as some extra time on the slopes. The program is ala carte, meaning that you only have to sign-up for what you need. We offer lift tickets (which are good from 3 p.m.-closing for the evening program, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. for the adult daytime program), lessons (which are an hour per session), and rentals. Remember, if you do not have a season pass, you will need to purchase the ticket portion of the program. A season pass/lift ticket is considered an “area ticket,” which you must have in order to be on the snow. Please also remember that late arrivals will not be given extended lesson time.
Please note that there will be a mandatory parent meeting the first day your child starts the program in the Bear’s Den at 15 minutes past your child’s start time; so if class starts at 5 p.m., the meeting is at 5:15 p.m. For the adult program, there will be a meeting at the start of the program, on the mountain when you meet your instructor.
These programs fill up very fast, so sign-up soon! If you have any questions, please give the mountain a call at 845-986-4940, or stop by customer service Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. All of the forms can be found our website. Fill them out and send in you or your child’s form to guarantee your preferred day and time.
If your child does not fit into one of these programs, you might be interested in our Dynamites program, for little ski-racers-to-be, or our Racing Program. Just give us a call.
