We are officially closed for skiing and riding for the 2012-2013 season. We hate to see the season end, but we have lots of memories to keep us going for these next few months. We would like to thank our staff and customers for an amazing season.

Season passes are on sale for next season .. the early bird price expires May 31st, so call customer service or download the form online at mtpeter.com. Offices are open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Surface conditions key:
Powder PDR freshly fallen fluffy snow
Loose Granular LSGR loose "sugar" snow
Frozen Granular FRGR frozen snow, similar to a "matte" finish
Wet Granular WETGR soft snow that is wet from warm temperatures,
rain, or humidity
Spring Conditions SC a mix of conditions created by sunny or rainy
days and above freezing temperatures
Windblown Snow WBLN powder or granular snow blown into drifts in
some places, leaving a firmly packed surface
Corn CORN large, loose snow crystals about the size of
corn, frozen at night, loose during the day
Ice ICY hard and slippery, glazed or see-through
surface, bulletproof
Variable Conditions VC no primary surface (70 % or more) can be
determined; a range or surfaces can be found
Machine Groomed Snow MGS snow that has been repeatedly groomed
by power tillers so that the texture is
halfway between loose granular and packed powder
Wet Snow WETSN powder snow which has become moist and
heavy due to a thaw, or rainfall, or moist fallen snow
