Snow Report

Report for: Spring!

Mount Peter is now closed for the season.

I have always loved the saying, “Skiing is a dance, and the mountain always leads.” There is a beautiful truth to that. There is also a truth to the fact that the mountain may lead, but the weather oversees everything. This year, Mother Nature must have needed an early spring, and while it’s beautiful outside, snow kind of needs to be kept cold.
We had an amazing season, with actual SNOW on several occasions, and outstanding snowmaking temperatures throughout January and February. We may have been cut a bit short, but the winter we did pack in was excellent!!!
I would like to thank everyone for a great season. From our guests to our awesome staff, I was often humbled by our mountain and the smiles it creates. Have a great summer, and don’t forget to buy your pass for next winter at the lowest price. After Friday March 22nd, passes will no longer be on sale until the fall.
Thanks again!
